The hexagram of 2024 signifies THUNDER and FIRE, indicating that these elements characterize this year. But what does THUNDER and FIRE symbolize? “The emperor emerges from shock; thunder and fire propel it forward; shock transforms into a dragon.” As the king of beasts, the dragon embodies clear objectives, the discovery of essential truths, and a focus on the core. It represents the image of standing tall like a straight tree, breaking barriers, advancing with strength, striving for stability, and putting in a diligent effort to build resilience.
From February 4th to August 7th (the first 6 months are associated with FIRE) and then from August 8th, 2024 to February 4th, 2025 (the following 6 months characterized by THUNDER), mastering the dynamics of FIRE and THUNDER can lead to a life of abundance. ABUNDANCE Hexagram 55 is akin to the midday sun, the peak of Summer, abundant with resources for a bountiful harvest.

- FORM: qigong form for your personal practice; this allows for self-healing and the ability to connect with qi and transmit
- THEORY: Chinese Medicine, Daoist Medicine (pertaining to the season, form, meridians, acupoints)
- PHILOSOPHY: Qigong philosophy, lifestyle practices – what is most beneficial for the season regarding daily living
Each class varies and may also contain: - Nutritional practices – what is most beneficial to align with the seasonal Qi
- Feng Shui/Astrology – utilizing the Qi associated with the year or season, Master Liu He provides practices to work with the Qi at a specific time
