Wisdom of Qi Men To Boost the Kidney Qi with Master Liu He – Livestream

December 7 - December 8

Master Liu He teaches us that to fully enjoy the powers of a season, you surrender and learn what it has to offer. Following the winter cycle, Daoist lifestyle suggestions allow our bodies’ water to flow and show us many treasures.
Reset your mind, body, and spirit to the Winter season with the wisdom of Qi Men!
A 5,000-year-old Chinese metaphysical practice, Qi Men Dun Jia is an ancient system once used by Emperors and imperial astrology advisers. Its key strength is analyzing the energy of the current space and time for Kidneys.

The Kidney Winter season! “Tune in” your Yin Kidney energy (Kidneys – Bladder). According to Chinese medicine, the “Kidney” becomes the Emperor in Winter. Winter is the most challenging season for the body and having ample Kidney Qi supports you. The cold, the lack of light, and diseases gradually deplete our energy (batteries). In the body, the Kidney plays the role of the battery. It is the source of all Yin (bodily substances) and Yang (functional dynamics) energies. For all these reasons, it is necessary to strengthen the Kidney Pole in winter. Master Liu He teaches us that to benefit from the powers of the season fully, one must learn what it has to offer. By following the Daoist life suggestions of the Winter cycle, we allow the water in our body to flow and show us many answers.

The Wisdom of Water is to flow. Water moves effortlessly and takes the exact form of whatever contains it. A balanced water element can move smoothly through the season with strength, courage, and willpower. There’s a sense of flow, ease, and an alignment to one’s purpose or destiny.
The energy of Winter is deep and potent, Daoists say that Winter is the season for inward reflection; a time to conserve and replenish. Wherever you transition to the cold Winter months, Qigong and Chinese Medicine support the body, mind, and spirit in change. In preparation for Winter, our focus turns to strengthening the Water element’s organs, the Kidneys and Urinary Bladder. When Water is out of balance, fear, anxiety, the kidneys, bladder, and joints become an obstacle to movement. Therefore Kidney Qi can be easily depleted.
