Yin Yang Five Elements of BaZiBaZi is a form of Chinese astrology that dates back thousands of years. A BaZi chart uses the information (birth year, month, date and hour) to interpret the destiny, personality, potential relationships, strengths, weaknesses, and opportunities (of a person, business, or country). The chart can reveal the influences in their life, providing insights into their character, and potential life trajectory.
The Yin Yang Five Elements of BaZi, are the Eight Characters expressing variations of Yin and Yang and the Five Elements. Such as Yin Wood and Yang Wood, Yin Fire and Yang Fire, Yin Earth and Yang Earth, Yin Metal and Yang Metal, Yin Water and Yang Water. The BaZi reveals the relationships between these eight characters, and their relationships can show the nature of an individual and their life path. Everyone at birth carries the influence of particular energies of the Universe. The energies presented at birth draw a diagram of the development and the changes that will occur in that person’s life. By analyzing and decoding our BaZi, we can look into the future and understand what life can reveal. Learn to generate, reduce, or dominate an element within your chart to enhance all aspects of your life.
Everything in BaZi revolves around the five elements and their interaction. Understanding the basics will help you learn and understand BaZi. This class will provide a foundation of the concepts and a Qigong form that will allow you to embody the material.
- FORM: qigong form for your personal practice, this allows for self-healing and the ability to connect with qi and transmit
- THEORY: BaZi, Chinese Medicine, Daoist Medicine (pertaining to the season, form, meridians, acupoints)
- PHILOSOPHY: Qigong philosophy, lifestyle practices – what is most beneficial for the season in regard to daily living
Each class varies and may also contain: - Nutritional practices – what is most beneficial to align with the seasonal Qi
- Feng Shui/Astrology – utilizing the Qi associated with the year or season, Master Liu He provides practices to work with the Qi at a specific time

National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine: 5 PDAs are pending through NCCAOM for licensed acupuncturists in the PE-CW category. Others who need CEUs may receive the certificates; however, you will need to check with your licensing board if they will accept them. You must attend live (in real-time online) to receive the PDAs.
