Zi Wu Qigong & Taoist Nutrition

Dates:  February 1, 8, 22, 29 & March 7, 14, 2020

Each New Year is a time for making resolutions. The year 2020, is an exceptional year with the start of a new decade and a new Chinese zodiac cycle. What you set into place at this time, will carry you through the next 10 to 12 years.

The first thing to do is reset your Yin and Yang clock. Master Liu He states that all of our Yin and Yang Qi is misplaced due to our crazy modern life. The new six-week series of classes
will focus on Zi Wu Qigong and Taoist nutrition in order to help you get the year started off right!

Zi Wu Qigong is a powerful Buddhist Qigong method that embodies the profound wisdom of the universe and has been traced back to the Tang Dynasty (618 – 907 AD). By practicing this Qigong
your Yin and Yang Qi becomes sturdier as well as restoring your lymphatic system’s power to defend your body against internal or external diseases. From this perspective Zi Wu Qigong is very effective for healing difficult health cases and chronic illness. This Qigong form is most effective when practiced in the Zi and Wu time. The Zi and Wu cycle is found on a yearly, monthly and daily basis. From this we can see that Zi and Wu are at the transition points between Yin and Yang. Practicing at the Zi Wu time is known as “stealing the secret from the universe” because it puts you in sync with nature’s cycles. Our lives are governed by nature’s cycles, and when we practice this form we sync with nature, allowing us to heal quicker and experience smooth transitions. In Chinese medicine, time and timing are crucial to creating positive change. When you do something is as important as what you do.

Taoist Nutritional Theory: Food is a daily link to nature and a deeper meaning can be found beyond calories and nutritional properties. You will discover great value in your foods when applying Taoist medical theory for healing, building Qi and supporting your organ systems.
