Summer Retreat with Dr. Liu Dong & Master Liu He – Damascus, Oregon
July 25, 2012 - July 29, 2012
Join us for the Ling Gui Qigong School’s Annual Summer Retreat and immerse yourself in powerful Qigong guided by Master Liu He and Dr. Liu Dong, world renowned Qigong Masters! Once again, this year’s summer retreat will be held in the relaxing and beautiful Still Meadow Retreat Center in Damascus, Oregon. In addition to a wonderfully inspiring teaching room, there are trails on the property, a wood-fired sauna, and swimming in the nearby Clackamas River. For the adventurous, there are beautiful hikes available about an hour up the road.
This year’s retreat will offer two unique groups of study: Taoist Medical Qigong and Qigong TuiNa.
Qigong Program: Open to all participants and all levels, the program is designed for you to learn tools for self-healing and rejuvenation. Steep yourself in Qigong philosophy and Taoist medical theory as you learn the following forms: Wild White Crane (harmonizing the Heart and Spirit), Golden Tree Meditation (utilizing breath, mantra, and visualization to awaken the golden seed that connects us to the universe), and Zi Wu Qigong (this form is practiced during the transitions hours of Yin to Yang and Yang to Yin. Practicing at these times allows you to “steal the secrets of the universe” and promote smooth transitions for healing).
Qigong TuiNa Program: This program features Qigong for self-healing and Qigong TuiNa techniques to provide your clients, patients, or family. You will learn Wild White Crane and Golden Tree Meditation. In addition to the enlivening Qigong forms, this program highlights the theory of She Hun Shu or The Method of Hun Conservation, often known as Chinese hypnosis. Practice uses Intention to follow the Hun traveling by cutting the connection between the Shen and Hun.
