“Digestive Taiji” The Daoist Art of Effortless Nourishment with Master Liu He – Livestream
September 21 @ 9:00 am - 2:00 pm
In Daoist medicine, the digestive system is revered as the Earth Element—the sacred cauldron where food alchemizes into Qi (energy) and Jing (essence). When digestion falters, the body becomes burdened with stagnation, dampness, and fatigue, while the mind and emotions grow clouded—a struggle magnified in today’s fast-paced world.
To restore Taiji—the dynamic balance of Yin and Yang—within digestion, we must harmonize the Spleen (Earth, Yin) and Stomach (Yang, active transformation), allowing them to resume their natural rhythm.
1. Cultivating Central Taiji: Spleen & Stomach Synergy
2. Strengthening Taiji By Awakening the Digestive Fire
3. Mantra: “My digestion flows like the Yellow River—steady, strong, and nourishing.”
4. Invoking the Tiger Stellar Earth Spirits
In Daoist astrology, the Tiger’s Stomach Lunar Mansion (e.g., Stomach, SP) governs digestion. Aligning meals/mindfulness with these cycles deepens harmony.
“The Stomach is the sea of nourishment; the Spleen, the minister of transformation. When Taiji reigns, digestion becomes effortless—a gentle stream feeding the body, mind, and spirit.”
