One Thousand Hands Buddha Part 2
Yuan Shen for the Kidneys: This powerful method helps you activate your kidney’s five prenatal qi to nourish your internal organs. Bringing abundant qi to your body and activating the Lao Gong acupoints in your hands. The five prenatal qi are:
– Prenatal jing (essence) allows you to open the Du Mai Channel, so the jing may flow back to the ocean of marrow (brain) for nourishment
– Prenatal yang qi warms up your spleen and stomach
– Prenatal yin qi nourishes your liver
– Prenatal steam in the kidneys purifies the heart
– Prenatal qi develops lung’s function
With this qigong practice, all the internal organs connect with each other providing a self-healing experience. This qigong especially helps with Alzheimer, insomnia, diabetes and syndromes of menopause and life transitions.
Yi Jin Jing: According to legend, when the Buddha Da Mo (Bodhidarma) came from India to China to teach Buddhism and taught in the temples, he discovered that the nuns and monks suffered from weakness of energy, blood and general health problems, as well as difficulties with their joints and tendons brought on by long years of sitting meditation. With the help of the monks in the Temple of Shaolin, he created a manual of exercises for maintaining physical health, called Yi Jin Jing, or Classic Easing the Tendons. In it he prescribed a certain number of movements for rotation, extension, torsion, and flexion, all designed to improve physical function and muscle tone, to strengthen the bones and increase flexibility. According to Da Mo, improving the physical condition of the monks and nuns would also profoundly affect their spiritual state.
Qigong TuiNa Program will feature One Thousand Hands Buddha Part 2, Yuan Shen for the Kidneys, and Qigong TuiNa for Insomnia.
