SUMMARY:Nei Yang Gong for the Kidneys & Chan Meditation with Dr. Liu Dong
DESCRIPTION:Nei Yang Gong is known as “Qi Gong for Circulating Energy and strengthening the Tendons”. It strengthens bones and tendons\, the four limbs and harmonizes the organs\, energy and blood. \nThis form can be practiced any time of day. It is often practiced by seniors due to its gentleness. It helps in experiencing the fullness of the lower half of the body and the emptiness of the upper body. \nIn terms of body movement\, we pay attention to the stretch\, rotation\, and extension of the spinal column. The movements work with relaxed shoulders\, hips\, lumbar region and all the joints. It is therefore an excellent method for treating diseases such as bronchitis\, digestive problems\, asthma\, nervousness\, hypertension\, leg pain and lumbar osteoarthritis\, neck and back pain.   It is also good for insomnia\, high blood pressure\, stress and heart disease. \nChan Meditation practice incorporates seated meditation and the focus is on emptying the mind and body of wants and desires so the qi can fill in. Practicing meditation in stillness quiets the mind until desire dies. When your heart is very peaceful\, the qi drops in. All the doors open and nature’s intelligence flows through the body. Learn to observe the body with the six roots\, observe the heart to develop joy and peace\, observe calm\, willingness\, intelligence and wisdom. \n  \nWorkshop times: \nSaturday\, 1:30-6pm \nSunday\, 9am-3:30pm \nFor registration\, download the form below and mail in with your tuition or pay on-line with Paypal. \nAll Fees once paid are non-refundable\, they can be transferred to another class. \nWhereas when Qigong is properly practiced\, it is extremely beneficial and presents minimal risk to one’s health\, please consult your physician if you are in doubt of your capabilities or have special health concerns. \nTuition:  $225 early registration (30 days prior)\, $255 after. \nDownload Registration Form \n \n\n\n\nregistration tuition options\n\n\nearly registration 30 days prior $225.00 USDafter April 13\, 2017 $255.00 USD\n\n\n\n \n\n

DESCRIPTION:Registration Full – Contact Us to be placed on a Wait List\n  \nIf you missed our Celestial Pillar Qigong this past Summer Retreat\, you now have another opportunity to learn this incredible form so many students are talking about! We have developed a special 3 day intensive workshop this Memorial Day weekend in Portland. \nIf you haven’t heard about this form\, students who learned and have been practicing have been reporting powerful responses. The form has provided increased energy\, feelings of vitality\, feeling younger\, sleeping well\, and an increased metabolism. \nOffering this form in Spring just before Summer in order to take off those extra layers: free radicals\, excess weight\, burdens\, negative emotions\, and thought patterns that don’t serve you. \nCelestial Pillar Qigong provides you this opportunity to strengthen and boost your Zheng Qi (upright yang qi). Strong Yang Qi gives you the foundation for a strong and vibrant life. The form (body\, organs\, etc.) is Yin Qi\, we need Yang Qi to animate and bring to life.In our fast paced modern society\, we drain and consume our Yang Qi on a daily basis.
