SUMMARY:Nei Yang Gong & Small Celestial Circulation Meditation with Dr. Liu Dong - Seattle-Registration Full
DESCRIPTION:Nei Yang Gong\, a method of Wu Dang Qigong\, harmonizes the energy connection between the Liver and Kidneys.  The Liver stores blood and governs emotions while the Kidneys store essence.  There is an interrelationship between the two organ functions as blood transforms into essence and essence gives rise to blood. With this theory in mind\, the connection purifies\, calms the Heart and strengthens the Kidneys producing balanced emotions\, restful sleep and increased immunity. \nNei Yang also nourishes the Spleen and Stomach Qi strengthening the digestive system\, preventing the accumulation of damp heat that may produce headaches\, migraines\, depression and stress. This practical method addresses digestive diseases\, diabetes and high cholesterol. \nThis weekend will also introduce you to the Small Celestial Circulation also known as the Microcosmic Orbit. This meditation is taught as a foundation to Inner Alchemy (Nei Dan) and cultivates the movement of Qi in the Du Mai (Governing Vessel) and the Ren Mai (Conception Vessel). \nWorkshop times: \nSaturday 1:30-6pm\nSunday 9:00am-3:30pm \nTuition:\n$225 if registered by December 27\, 2012 $195 \nAll Fees once paid are non-refundable\, they can be transferred to another class. \nWhereas when Qigong is properly practiced\, it is extremely beneficial and presents minimal risk to one’s health\, please consult your physician if you are in doubt of your capabilities or have special health concerns. \nFor registration\, download the form below and mail in with your tuition or pay on-line with Paypal. \nREGISTRATION CLOSED-CONTACT US TO BE PLACED ON A WAIT LIST \nregistration form \nor \n \n\n\n\nTuition\n\n\nearly registration-by December 27\, 2012 $195.00 USDafter 12/17/12 $225.00 USD

SUMMARY:Zi Wu Qigong & Taoist Nutrition - Portland with Master Liu He\, January 2013-CLOSED REGISTRATION
DESCRIPTION:REGISTRATION CLOSED – WAIT LIST\nNO DROP-IN’S ALLOWED FOR THE CLASSES\n\n\nZi Wu Qi Gong & Taoist Nutrition\nDates: January 19\, Feb 2\, Feb 9\, Feb 23\, Mar 2\, Mar 9\, 2013\nPortland\, with Master Liu He\n  \nNew Year is the time for making new resolutions\, eating right and doing the right thing. The first right thing is to reset your Yin and Yang clock.  Master Liu He states that all of our Yin and Yang Qi is misplaced due to our crazy modern life.  The new six-week series of classes will focus on Zi Wu Qigong and Taoist nutrition in order to help you get the year started off right! \nZi Wu Qigong is a powerful Buddhist Qigong method that embodies the profound wisdom of the universe and has been traced back to the Tang Dynasty (618 – 907 AD). By practicing this Qigong your Yin and Yang Qi becomes sturdier as well as restoring your lymphatic system’s power to defend your body against internal or external diseases. From this perspective Zi Wu Qigong is very effective for healing difficult health cases and chronic illness.  This Qigong form is most effective when practiced \nin the Zi and Wu time. The Zi and Wu cycle is found on a yearly\, monthly and daily basis.   From this we can see that Zi and Wu are at the transition points between Yin and Yang. Practicing at the Zi Wu time is known as “stealing the secret from the universe” because it puts you in sync with nature’s cycles. Our lives are governed by nature’s cycles\, and when we practice this form we sync with nature\, allowing us to heal quicker and experience smooth transitions. In Chinese medicine\, time and timing are crucial to creating positive change.  When you do something is as important as what you do. \nTaoist Nutritional Theory: Food is a daily link to nature and a deeper meaning can be found beyond calories and nutritional properties. You will discover great value in your foods when applying Taoist medical theory for healing\, building Qi and supporting your organ systems. \nSaturdays: 1:30 PM – 3:30 PM \nLocation: Harmony Yoga\, 2108 NE 41st Ave.\, Portland\, OR  97212 \nTuition: $275\, or register early by December 15 for $245.  Drop-in class: $50 per class \nAll Fees once paid are non-refundable\, they can be transferred to another class. \nWhereas when Qigong is properly practiced\, it is extremely beneficial and presents minimal risk to one’s health\, please consult your physician if you are in doubt of your capabilities or have special health concerns. \nDownload registration form   OR pay via PayPal registration  CLOSED REGISTRATION – CONTACT US TO BE PLACED ON A WAIT LIST – NO DROP-IN’S ALLOWED FOR THE CLASSES\n \n \n\n\n\n\n\n\nearly registration-by December 15 $245.00 USDregistration after $275.00 USDDrop-in class $50.00 USD

SUMMARY:Hui Gong III : Reconnecting to Yuan Shen & Hui Gong IV : Purifying Marrow\, Blood\, & Brain with Dr. Liu Dong - Seattle
DESCRIPTION: Hui Gong III: Wisdom Qigong is a Taoist style practice that has been handed down for over 2\,000 years and has recently been used by the Traditional Chinese Medicine physicians. \nIts function is to develop wisdom and bring out the human potential.  The form focuses on bringing the mind-heart to tranquility by cleansing.  It replaces the train of many thoughts with one thought by using the mind to guide the qi through the five solid organs.  The goal is to wake up the spirits within the five organs — shen in the heart\, hun in the liver\, po in the lungs\, yi in the spleen\, and zhi in the kidneys — so these spirits recover their full functions and gain back their natural rhythms.  This is the self-healing power! \nThis method awakens the five spirits\, then reconnects to harmonize relationships between all the spirits and brings about true healing. \nHui Gong IV: Due to high levels of stress in our daily lives\, we overload our mind and brain activities. This will consume and stagnate our marrow and blood\, compromising the brain function leading to an inability to focus\, depression\, memory loss\, Alzheimer’s and Cancer. \nBy practicing this Qigong form\, we purify and increase marrow and blood. This cleansing and purification allows for an increase of marrow as well as activating circulation and quality of blood – all leading to a well-nourished brain and optimal brain function. \nWorkshop times: \nSaturday\, 1:30-6pm \nSunday\, 9am-3:30pm \nFor registration\, download the form below and mail in with your tuition or pay on-line with Paypal. \nAll Fees once paid are non-refundable\, they can be transferred to another class. \nWhereas when Qigong is properly practiced\, it is extremely beneficial and presents minimal risk to one's health\, please consult your physician if you are in doubt of your capabilities or have special health concerns. \n  \nDownload Registration Form \n  \n \n\n\n\nregistration tuition options\n\n\nearly registration 30 days prior$195.00 USDafter October 3$225.00 USD\n\n\n\n \n

DESCRIPTION:Receive your CEU’s and come to learn one of the most profound chapters (Ling Lan Mi Dian) of the Huang Di Nei Jing (The Yellow Emperor’s Classic of Internal Medicine).  \nAn ancient Taoist Chinese medical text\, these writings explore the foundations of Chinese medicine. The chapter discussed during this workshop is the “Secret treatises stored in the Emperor's treasure-house of books”. In past instructions of this chapter\, in order to understand and integrate the knowledge\, one is required to be an experienced Qigong and Chinese medical practitioner. SUMMARY:Zi Wu Qigong with Master Liu He - Damascus\, Oregon
DESCRIPTION:Zi Wu Qigong is a powerful Buddhist Qigong method that embodies the profound wisdom of the universe and has been traced back to the Tang Dynasty (618 – 907 AD).  By practicing this Qigong your Yin and Yang Qi becomes sturdier as well as restoring your lymphatic system’s power to defend your body against internal or external diseases. From this perspective Zi Wu Qigong is very effective for healing difficult health cases and chronic illness.  Another highlight of this Qigong\, creating an opening of your heart through chanting “The Great Compassion” mantra. The heart is known as “the emperor” who rules your entire body and guides everything you do.  When the emperor is happy\, you are happy and you will feel good. \n  \nThis Qigong form is most effective when practiced in the Zi and Wu time. The Zi and Wu cycle is found on a yearly\, monthly and daily basis.  On a calendar year basis Zi starts at the winter solstice\, which is when the first yang starts; and Wu begins during the summer solstice\, which is when the first yin starts. On a monthly basis Zi is the time of the new moon and Wu is the time of the full moon. On a daily basis Zi is the time between 11pm – 1am and Wu is the time between 11am – 1pm.  From this we can see that Zi and Wu are at the transition points between Yin and Yang. \n  They are opposite and complementary as are Yang and Yin. Zi and Wu reflect the cycle of growth and decline of Yin or Yang. Starting at Zi\, during the first cycle\, Yin reaches its maximum and Yang is at its birth. After that\, Yang increases and reaches its maximum and Yin is at its birth. \n  \nWe know Yin and Yang are connected. This means they are turning\, changing and circling\, therefore\, the energy moves in the body according to a schedule. The emphasis is on time and timing. Life advances through cycles of day and night but there are larger cycles of months\, seasons\, and years\, and all these are interwoven with the cycles of yin and yang\, and of the five elements. This is a way to understand the energetics resulting from this matrix of influences\, and to create change by strategic choice of Qigong\, acupuncture\, Feng Shui\, ect. . \n  \nPracticing at the Zi Wu time is known as “stealing the secret from the universe” because it puts you in sync with nature’s cycles. Our lives are governed by nature’s cycles\, and when we practice this form we sync with nature\, allowing us to heal quicker and experience smooth transitions. In Chinese medicine\, time and timing are crucial to creating positive change.  When you do something is as important as what you do. \nFriday 3-6pm \nSaturday 9am-12pm\, 3-6pm \nSunday 9am-12:30pm \nTuition:  $275 \nSome lodging available on-site. Please contact us for additional information. \nTo register\, download the registration form and mail in with your tuition or pay on-line via Paypal. \nAll Fees once paid are non-refundable\, they can be transferred to another class. \nWhereas when Qigong is properly practiced\, it is extremely beneficial and presents minimal risk to one's health\, please consult your physician if you are in doubt of your capabilities or have special health concerns. \nDownload Registration Form \n  \n \n

SUMMARY:New Moon Meditation-Portland-click here
DESCRIPTION:During our annual summer retreat\, we are fortunate to experience the cycling of a New Moon. In honor of this special occasion\, Master Liu He will teach a New Moon I-Ching Meditation. For those unable to attend the entire retreat\, we invite you to enroll in the last day of the retreat to learn this transformational meditation. During this time\, most people feel a low mood\, emotional struggles\, increased fatigue\, depression\, stress\, worsening illness\, business decline\, and/or decreased motivation. You look at new ways of thinking\, being and acting to move you out of a ‘rut’. You take action as you plant positive ideas in your subconscious mind.  It is a journey into your deeper self\, a healing meditation on a multi-dimensional level\, and a very rejuvenating meditation.
