SUMMARY:Five Animals Qigong with Dr. Liu Dong - Seattle
DESCRIPTION:Hua Tuo\, a famous ancient doctor\, developed this form of qigong after living by himself in the mountains in order to watch the lives of the animals\, especially the Tiger\, the Deer\, the Bear\, the Monkey and the Crane. This method has been practiced since before the 17th century. This form incorporates some movements from other qigong such as Dao Yin (movement exercises for circulating qi) and TuNa (breathing exercises). There are many subsequent variations of Five Animal Play but this form as taught by Dr. Liu is inspired by the classical Five Animal Play and enriched by Dr. Liu’s own qigong experience. \nThe imitation of the animals is the foundation and the key to this exercise. It is not only important to imitate the movements of each animal but it is also important to embrace the character of these animals. Therefore\, the Tiger play should express the powerful and majestic presence and the watchfulness in its face. The Deer play should be relaxed\, smooth and nimble. The Bear play should be calm\, slow and the movements heavy and slightly clumsy. The Monkey play should be active and energetic. And the Crane should be light\, dignified and graceful. In short\, it is necessary to identify with the animal in body and in spirit. \nThe Chinese medicine theory shows a correspondence between the five animals and the five organs: \nTiger movements – tonifies the kidneys\, majestic and powerful\, supports one’s energy and strengthens the bones \nDeer movements – disperses liver stagnation\, increases blood circulation and relaxes the tendons to increase qi circulation \nBear movements – harmonizes the spleen and stomach and improves the digestion \nMonkey movements – nourishes the heart and stimulates the mind/intelligence \nCrane movements – strengthens the lungs and increases the capacity of the breath \n  \nWorkshop times:\nSaturday\, 2-6:30pm\nSunday\, 9am-3:30pm \nFor registration\, download the form below and mail in with your tuition or pay on-line with Paypal. \nAll tuition fees once paid are non-refundable\, transferable to another workshop/class/retreat for $80 fee. \nWhereas when Qigong is properly practiced\, it is extremely beneficial and presents minimal risk to one’s health\, please consult your physician if you are in doubt of your capabilities or have special health concerns. \nTuition: $225 early registration (30 days prior)\, $255 after. \nDownload Registration Form \n  \n \n\n\n\nregistration tuition options\n\n\nearly registration 30 days prior $225.00 USDafter october 9\, 2019 $255.00 USD

SUMMARY:Mei Hua Zhuang (Iron Shirt Budhhist Qigong) 3 day Retreat with Master Liu He - Portland area
DESCRIPTION:Registration Full – Contact to be placed on the wait list. \n\nMei Hua Zhuang (Iron Shirt Buddhist Qigong) is a form to strengthen the force of the 3 body layers.\n\n\nWithin Chinese astrology\, 2019 is referred to as the year of the MUD PIG. This means\, mud (in what ever form it takes) can easily splash on you. Master Liu He has worked with this form to develop mudras\, mantras\, and movements to ward off and protect ourselves from negative influences as well as enhance overall health. This deep level of self-care if very important for this year.\n\nOutside Layer:Wei Qi (defensive qi )\, this Qi circulates on the surface of the body. Each time we practice this form\, you increase your Qi army\, helping you fight negative qi. Master Liu He frequently states that fighting an illness is like fighting a war. Only when your Qi  army is strong\, the enemy qi can not come in and destroy you.\n\nMiddle Layer: Ying Qi (Blood Qi)\, this Qi circulates in your blood stream. By practicing this form\, you first release blood stagnations and blockages\, then flush away the free radicals\, while making your red and white blood cells stronger.\n\nInside Layer: Zang Qi (Organs Qi)\, \nthis Qi circulates around and inside your internal organs. By practicing this qigong\, your five solid organs become healthier and stronger to restore the network between them. This restoration then heals internal and external relationships and resets your autonomic nervous system.\n\n\nMaster Liu He will lecture on the topic:  Nine Flying Star Yi Jing Feng Shui for your Health\, Business\, and Personal Life. This material will allow you to grasp the next level of healing power.\n\nClass Times:\nMonday July 22 & Tuesday July 23:  9am-12pm & 3-6pm\nWednesday July 24:  9am-12pm\n\nOn-site lodging/meals are available. SUMMARY:Nourishing Woman & Dai Mai Qigong with Master Liu He - PDX
DESCRIPTION:Nourishing Woman Qigong (Yang Tai Gong) is a medical Qigong form that has been developed in Master Liu’s family to tonify the woman’s body and procreative organs\, enhance fertility\, and to support the mother and her baby during pregnancy. Qigong Masters know that during the new moon\, this time presents the best opportunity for seeding the qi. According to the I-Ching\, Taoist philosophy\, and Chinese Astrology\, the new moon is the most auspicious time for starting new projects\, creating a vision and creating for yourself a ‘new’ beginning\, purpose\,\nintention and direction. You implement new ways of thinking\, being and acting to move you out of a ‘rut’. You take action as you plant positive ideas in your subconscious mind. SUMMARY:Six Sounds Therapy Qigong with Master Liu He
DESCRIPTION:  \n  \nSix Sounds Therapy is one of the most powerful healing techniques from ancient China and has been further developed in the Liu family for generations. The six sounds vibrate and invigorate the five internal organs and manage the emotions. This method benefits those who experience disease and is also a beneficial healing technique for healers. \nAs one of the oldest Qigong methods in China\, this form brings the mind into powerful harmony with the Qi. Students will learn how to stabilize the five emotions through the sounds and movements of each organ system. It is a good Qigong method for promoting personal health and well-being. \nAccording to the Taoists\, emotions are at the root of most diseases. When a person contracts a disease\, he may be killed by his emotions before the disease can kill. Excessive emotion can lead to negative thoughts. When the mind is negative\, it sends negative information to the body. That’s how diseases develop in the mind and body over time. \nThe Six Sounds used in Six Sound Therapy\, Xu\, Ke\, Hu\, Si\, Chui\, and Xi\, resonate with the organs and have been used for thousands of years to harmonize the internal organs and their spirits with the universe.  When the five organs are vibrated by these sounds\, negative emotions are gently released and the qi in the organs that has been tied up in these emotions is restored to a positive state.  We feel brighter and lighter inside and our negative thoughts are replaced by positive thoughts.  This is how emotions heal. \nWorkshop times: \nSaturday\, 1:30-6pm \nSunday\, 9am-3:30pm \nFor registration\, download the form below and mail in with your tuition or pay on-line with Paypal. \nDownload Registration Form\nTuition: $225 early registration (30 days prior)\, $255 after. \n \n\n\n\nregistration tuition options\n\n\nearly registration 30 days prior $225.00 USDafter December 28\, 2017 $255.00 USD
