SUMMARY:Fenghuo Lun Yijing Qigong Summer Retreat with Master Liu He-In Person
DESCRIPTION:Join Master Liu He to learn these wisdom traditions for transforming Fire and Wind. \nThe form focuses on controlling Fire and guiding the Wind to create metaphysical connections\, facilitate healing on all levels\, and align with the periodic retrograde of planets\, which often causes imbalance for us. \nThe Yijing hexagram #37 represents family\, friends\, and relationships. It’s the perfect time to reconnect with our families\, partners\, friends\, Qi community\, and your spiritual community. All these can be considered as family\, extending even to your country\, the world\, nature\, and the Universe! This hexagram emphasizes the significance of family in society. It’s an auspicious year for marriage\, starting a family\, or expanding it. When you find happiness in your family life\, you find happiness in society as well! \nAnother key message of this hexagram is the emphasis on the role of the matriarch. Female energy and virtue will be particularly important over the next 20 years. As the saying in philosophy goes\,  “When the family flourishes\, the country flourishes\, and the world flourishes.” In the concept of Five Elemental Theory\, Fire creates internal Wind\, some let their anger manifest while others hold it inside. If you express your anger too much\, this Wind will drive away your Qi and exhaust you. If you keep anger inside\, the Inner Wind can disrupt your mental and physical health. With this practice\, you will learn to use the Fenghuo Lun (electricity generating wheel) to charge energy and direct the Wind in a positive direction to improve your health\, instead of destroying you. \n  \n\nFenghuo Lun Yijing Qigong\n\nPrepare yourself for 2026 — a year of deep transformation and spiritual awakening. \nTransform the Inner Fire and Wind\nJoin Master Liu He for a deep journey into the traditional energetic arts of Qigong. This exceptional training will introduce you to the practice of Fenghuo Lun Yijing Qigong\, an ancient method that combines Daoist wisdom and energetic guidance to prepare for the major energetic shifts of 2026 — the Year of the Yang Fire Horse\, a year of double Fire and powerful internal Wind. \n\nWhy is this practice essential for 2026?\nAccording to the Five Element theory\, Fire gives rise to internal Wind. When this energy is mismanaged — either explosively expressed or repressed — it can deplete your Qi\, disrupt emotional balance\, and negatively affect your health. \nThis Qigong form is designed to: \n*Recharge and stabilize your energy using the Fenghuo Lun (“electricity-generating wheel”)\n*Transform internal Wind into a constructive force\n*Support healing on physical\, emotional\, and spiritual levels\n*Align with cosmic cycles\, especially planetary retrogrades \n\n Yi Jing Hexagram 37: Wind over Fire\nThis year and next also resonate with the energy of Hexagram 37 — a symbol of family\, relationships\, and community. It is a powerful time to:\n* Reconnect with family\, friends\, and your Qi community\n* Create or expand your spiritual family\n* Harmonize your inner life to contribute more fully to collective harmony\n* Lay the foundations for marriage\, home\, or community projects \nIN-PERSON Retreat for our July sessions! \nWe plan to gather in person this summer at the Alton L. Collins Retreat Center! We look forward to connecting with you!\nThe facilities provide a lodge-type feel with many outdoor spaces\, a large lobby\, a library\, and more! Magnificent western red cedars grace the grounds. The natural forest setting has been preserved. Trails take you through the woods and along the streams that meander around the grounds. Their holistic chef makes sure your meals nourish your mind and body so you can focus on retreat. \nThe Alton L. Collins Retreat Center is dedicated to offering a safe\, quality environment for growth and reflection for service worldwide. The center is nestled in a Pacific northwestern forest surrounded by majestic\, moss-covered cedar\, spruce\, fir\, hemlock\, and big-leaf maple. The natural environment supports ferns\, trillium\, and salmonberry bushes covering the forest floor. \nWhat you will learn: \n\n\nFORM:  qigong form for your personal practice; this allows for self-healing and the ability to connect with qi and transmit\nTHEORY:  Chinese Medicine\, Daoist Medicine (pertaining to the season\, form\, meridians\, acupoints)\nPHILOSOPHY:  Qigong philosophy\, lifestyle practices – what is most beneficial for the season in regard to daily living\nEach class varies and may also contain:\nNutritional practices – what is most beneficial to align with the seasonal Qi\nFeng Shui/Astrology – utilizing the Qi associated with the year or season\, Master Liu He provides practices to work with the Qi at a specific time\n\n\nWhen enrolling\, you will receive\n\nLecture \n\n15 hours of in-person classes\n30-minute Zoom session on Saturday\, August 2\, 2025 – 8:00am Pacific . SUMMARY:Yellow Dragon & Chan Meditation Summer Retreat with Dr. Liu Dong-In Person
DESCRIPTION:Immerse yourself in 3-days of Qigong and Meditation led by Dr. Liu Dong. In this retreat\, he will introduce you to the form Yellow Dragon Qigong and Chan Meditation. \nYellow Dragon Qigong is the foremost way to train the digestive and absorption functions of the spleen and stomach. The Spleen is the root of acquired nature. Chinese medicine believes regulating the body’s immunity is a function of Spleen Yang. The human body has three lines of immune defense. The first line of defense is the human skin. Through practice\, Spleen qi rises and enters the Lungs\, becoming Wei Qi to protect the skin and mucous membranes. The second line of defense is the human phagocytes\, and the third line of defense is T cells and B cells\, which are all related to the spleen’s blood production and blood control. This exercise aims to train the Spleen’s Yang to warm the Five Internal Organs. \nThe form supports the cultivation of the earth\, warms the Spleen and Stomach\, regulates acquired immunity\, and helps with autoimmune diseases. \nChan Meditation is a personal internal journey\, utilizing breath and visualization to renew your perspective! \nIN-PERSON Retreat for our July sessions!\nWe plan to gather in person this summer at the Alton L.
